Electric water pump

Among our most significant research activities, we would like to mention the electric water pump running at a 12 volt supply voltage, entirely developed by our R&D staff. The pump is the result of a new more effective cooling concept: i.e. the electric water pump is no longer belt driven, but it rather works thanks to an electric engine driven by an electronic control. The main advantages are the following: - drop of fuel consumption; - reduction of polluting emissions; - longer life of the pump; - lower noise.

                                             Electromagnetic pulley

The electromagnetic pulley is assembled in the pump main body of a conventional mechanical water pump. It regulates the pump functioning; therefore, the water pump only runs when required, i.e. independently from the belt. Through the use of the electromagnetic pulley, the pump power absorption is consistently reduced and the cooling capacity optimized. Our project aims at reaching an efficiency level close to the one of the electrical pump while keeping production costs down.
